Join us this summer as Wandering Aesthetics presents Dream Keepers, an enchanting week-long summer camp that will awaken imaginations, foster creativity, and inspire young performers to bring their dreams to life through theatre.

Led by Wandering Aesthetics’ Director of Education Kyle Jozsa and Teaching Artist Matt Dodds, this summer camp is perfect for both aspiring thespians and those just discovering their love for the stage. Students will delve into the captivating world of dreams, using dramatic concepts such as imagination, character creation, and teamwork to craft their own unique performance inspired by the theme of Dream Keepers.

Each morning, students will participate in engaging games and activities designed to teach the fundamentals of live performance (stage picture, blocking, memorization, cues, etc.) while exploring advanced techniques such as proper use of body and voice, spatial awareness, and character development. Afternoons will focus on weaving these skills into the creation of an original performance that will transport audiences into a magical realm of dreams.

The week will conclude with a final presentation on Friday, June 13th, where students will showcase their imaginative work for friends and family.

• Students should bring a water bottle and brown bag lunch each day.
